Technology support for humans

You’re not calling a help desk. You’re calling a person.

Tech support can feel cold, rushed, or deliberately confusing. CTRL + FIX is built around the opposite experience: listen first, explain clearly, fix what matters, and make sure you understand what happened.

FAQ

Before you ask Google 17 different things…

Here are the questions people usually have before booking residential tech support.

Do you come to my home?

Yes. Onsite residential support is available in the Dayton area for problems that are easier to solve where the equipment is located, such as Wi-Fi, printers, multiple devices, and setup issues.

Can you fix my computer remotely?

Often, yes. Software issues, settings, email problems, updates, and many troubleshooting tasks can be handled remotely. Hardware failures obviously need hands-on service.

Do you work on Macs?

Use the contact form to describe the exact device and problem. The service recommendation will depend on the issue and whether the needed repair is supported.

Will I know the price before you do the work?

The goal is to keep pricing clear and avoid surprise work. If diagnosis reveals something materially different from the original problem, you should approve the next step before additional work is performed.

Do you work with businesses?

CTRL + FIX is built specifically around residential and end-user support rather than commercial managed IT, office contracts, or enterprise support.

What should I do before bringing in a computer?

If possible, bring the power adapter and write down any passwords needed to reproduce the issue. If your data is especially important, mention that before any repair or reinstall work begins.
